My favorite thing about our community is the great support for its schools. I’ve been blessed to grow up going to the schools here, and they have encouraged me to be the best version of myself. Additionally, the community supports the countless teams, groups, and clubs that our school has, including the Band of Gold. This support has made it a great experience to go to school here in Hendersonville.

What High School do you attend?
Hendersonville High School

Please tell us a little bit about your family.
I have a very close relationship with my family. I’m an only child so I spend a lot of time with them. They both do accounting work, and I would like to go into a career similar to them. I look up to them a bunch, so I think I picked this up from them. They support me with all of my school activities, so that keeps us pretty busy. They show up to all events with our high school band and my extracurriculars. They are my greatest support team. When we have free time as a family, we go out to eat, we watch sports, and we go visit family out of town. We also have a pet Goldendoodle named Archie.

What are your plans after graduation?
I plan to major in Accounting, and I hope to attend the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. In high school I have tried to immerse myself in the business world by joining FBLA and DECA. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with these clubs, and I feel ready to take on whatever this career throws my way. Also, I play the sax for the HHS Band of Gold, so I would love to join the Pride of the Southland Band at UT.

What are two of your favorite restaurants in our community?
Chop House and Carrabba’s

If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
I would like to travel to Yellowstone National Park. I have not been out west before, so I would love to see the scenery of it all.

What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
Moneyball is my favorite movie, and I always enjoy watching The Office with my dad.

If you were asked to give advice to your senior class and the younger students at your school, what would you say?
My advice to the senior class would be to enjoy the time we have left with each other and look forward to where life takes us. We’re in store for great things! To underclassmen I’d say to enjoy the time you have because it flies by! These are some of the best years of your life and you’ll look back fondly on the times you had. Also, I’d say to not be afraid to put yourself out there because it will hold you back from things you may enjoy.

If you were able to be cast as yourself into a television show or series, what show would you want to be in?
I’d like to be a part of The Office because it’d be really fun to be around. The office in the show looked like a really fun place to work, and I’d love to have all the characters as my coworkers.

If you could choose anyone to have lunch with, who would you choose? Why? And where, locally, would you meet for this lunch?
I’d like to have lunch with Peyton Manning at Buffalo Wild Wings. I’d like for the lunch to also be on a Saturday when the Vols would be playing. He’s my favorite athlete and I know that it would be really fun to hang with him. He has a really funny personality, and I think he’d have a lot of wisdom to share with me.

Sky Diving

What is your go to band / singer when you cant decide what to listen to?
Chris Stapleton

Favorite month? favorite holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
My favorite month of the year is December because the semester is winding down, I get extra time to spend with family and friends, and it has Christmas and New Years Eve. Despite my favorite month being December, my favorite holiday is Thanksgiving. I love spending time with those that I’m thankful for, and Thanksgiving food is easily the best out of any holiday. I think the best single day of the year is the 4th of July. I spend the 4th of July with my friends each year, and it’s always awesome getting to watch fireworks.

What would you rate a 10 out of 10?
Bruster’s Cookies and Cream

Who inspires you to be better?
My parents inspire me to be the best I can. They’ve encouraged me to try new things and figure out who I want to be. Their support has been immense, and I am extremely thankful for all they’ve done for me.
